Powerline Study #3

by Jordan Turner

Stretched Canvas

DESCRIPTION

Fine art print on bright white, fine poly-cotton blend, matte canvas using latest generation Epson archival inks. Individually trimmed and hand stretched museum wrap over 1-1/2" deep wood stretcher bars. Includes wall hanging hardware.

Based on my photos of the powerlines that bring energy to the City of Vancouver, more specifically, Gropps Gallery on Main and 6th (http://www.groppsgallery.com/). I find the power line symbolic of the various tubes that keep all organic forms living. I see them as our cultures veins and arteries, or neurotransmitters in the brain, bouncing energy from one location to another.
