The heartbeat is life's rhythm that drives passion and the excitement to be alive. It is common for a cameo to depict a portrait of someone or a profile of the face. In my mind, this graphic is a kind of portrait showing one's "insides" instead of the outer appearance. Much like our homes, our interiors reveal aspects of who we really are. My intent with this print and t-shirt design is to show how our inner workings manifest themselves in our surroundings and function in our daily lives.
