As far as I remember I am intrigued by the power of visual language of japanese masters such as Kazumasa Nagai or Shigeo Fukuda and Ikko Tanaka as well as with traditional patterns we usually find exquisitely done with needle and thread on fine material of kimonos. On the other hand I am always at awe by the magic of hexagon, what it does on the plane when treated at certain manner and what feast to the eye can we achieve. This work is a transition of these inspirations.
