here is the second painting in my yōkai series. The profit from these prints will be donated to global giving towards the Japan tsunami and earthquake relief fund.
As the story goes, they are usually a wife of a miser and rarely eat. A mouth magically appears on the back of their head to make up for this. The woman rarely eats, but the mouth on the back of her head eats twice as much as she does. The woman's hair becomes serpent like and aids food to the second mouth.
