Vanishing Canadian Canids

by Mariya Olshevska

Stretched Canvas

DESCRIPTION

Fine art print on bright white, fine poly-cotton blend, matte canvas using latest generation Epson archival inks. Individually trimmed and hand stretched museum wrap over 1-1/2" deep wood stretcher bars. Includes wall hanging hardware.

The wolf and the two foxes I posted previously were ideally envisioned to be juxtaposed together in a triptych like this, and were designed to be a (hypothetical) stamp series for the Canadian Wildlife Federation.
(Eastern Wolf, Grey Fox, & Swift Fox)
The 3 animals are arranged in the order of least endangered to most endangered (left to right). I tried to symbolize that with their ear gestures. :)
