Another gorgeous piece! I love your use of color, and great line drawing as well. I hope you don't mind me asking, how do you color your pen and ink drawings?
Pat -- The lines are all pen and ink crosshatching, but the coloring is done in Photoshop. I started doing it that way when I "ruined" a picture coloring by hand.
You are so so sweet! These building pieces take ages to do and I honestly felt totally burnt out after this one. Plus I kinda thought maybe people were getting sick of them. So I'm doing a pelican for my mother next, and then will do another of these. Your support means so much to me. Seriously. Thank you!
Lots and lots of little lines. But to be truthful, I do color it digitally. 'Cause I have trouble making up my mind about the colors. Hope that doesn't make you like it less! : )
Yeah, I'm thinking this might be one of the most photographed streets ever! But how can you not? It's so gorgeous. So don't compare your photo to my drawing too closely. . . I took some liberties. . . : )
Loving this series of works.
This is somehow tear-inducing. Love it Meg.
Actually been there and took that same photo angle :-)
