Thank you all very very much!
Samantha, I asked my father where the picture was taken, and he thought it might be Colmar or somewhere near there that they visited the same day. The building in the front left is actually an Irish Pub, and the picture was really taken at ten minutes before twelve noon.
Thank you all again!!!
I love this one as well as the first one in this series. The first one has a gold border which really looks great, so I wonder what this would look like if you added the same border. Just curious.
Thank you Michael and Angelo! Michael -- I didn't notice I'd left the border until I posted it. I wonder if there's a way to replace the image without taking it down and reposting it? I'm scared to try and mess it up! Have you ever done that?
Yes, you can easily replace your image by just hitting "edit" then uploading the new one. I didn't notice the border either. Again, just love the romantic, mysterious quality of your street scenes. They feel very much like old, luminous paintings.
....reading here....so, if you discover that an uploaded image is not quite the highest resolution, and you want to replace it with a better quality for more 'reprint' options, you can just 'edit' and replace....and the comments and promotes will stay?
If you hit 'Edit', you can delete you existing image and upload another & hit the update button. Likewise with skin and tee images - just go to the add other products page and delete and replace any of the images.
I was able to replace the white border image with the tinted border. You do in fact just go into edit, click the little box with the "x", upload the new image, and hit publish. If you forget to click the little box with the "x", you get an error message saying you've reached the upload quota.
Thank you Rachel and Patricia for your help!
After looking through your portfolio and seeing which of your works I've not previously promoted and/or commented on, I really like this piece, Meg! … and, I'd like to thank you for supporting my work as well. Personally, I think one of the best features of S6 is the opportunity we are given to encourage our talented comrades. Just wanted to let you know how much I really admire both your art and your consistent support and kindness towards fellow artists! Instead of thanking you personally in my work's comment box, thought I'd do it in yours. ;-) I apologize for this comment being a form letter format… It's important to me to say thank you, and there are many people whose wonderful work I wish to promote (in a short period of time) as a tangible way of showing my appreciation.
Who said letter writing was a lost art? Seriously though, it's my pleasure. There are so many wonderful artists here, how can I not support them? Thank YOU for your many kind words and support!
