St. Augustine's Catholic Church is an example of Gothic Revival architecture, largely completed in 1881 and featuring a steeple that rises 200 feet (61 m) above the ground. It is one of four buildings in the county that hold the honor of being placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973 (#82003593)
