This is the setup I use for some of my photos. Since the DSLR is not full frame, and the body of the DSLR increases the focal length of the antique camera, some loss of image area occurs in terms of what the antique lens projects onto the cmos. The feeling within images obtained with cameras of the era comes through in the result of this setup however. I don't doubt some careful use of a modern lens with a large focal length and some DoF could replicate the results, but this is certainly fun, and relatively cheap.

So clever!!! I love the way you have given new life to a gorgeous old camera. The image has a beautiful timelessness about it too. I think it's more new "complements "old. That camera looks like my grandfather's Voigtlander :D Love this stuff.
