This canvas tote is made from 100% post-industrial recycled cotton, making it environmentally and socially responsible. All seams and stress points are double stitched for durability. The bag's cotton web shoulder straps allow you to comfortably carry the bag either over the shoulder or as a tote. Available in black or natural (with inside pocket).

The Shining minimalist style has been done before. However, I admire the film so much that I decided to give it a try and possibly take it one step further. I didn't want to create just a simplified snapshot of an iconic moment from the movie, I also wanted to encode the meaning of the whole scene in it. Layout of the picture resembles a typewriter and a (bloody) sheet of paper coming out of it. The keypad spells the phrase Jack Torrance wrote over and over again. The words are broken and there is no space between them, which represents his obsession. Mistake in the last line (shifted "U" key) is supposed to hint Jack's growing insanity (his normal state of mind is shifting). Of course, Jack Torrence's typewriter didn't have circular keys. The idea was to make the keyboard look as coming from an older type of machine indicating (as did the movie itself) that the same kind of situation has already happened at least once in the past. So that's the idea behind the picture. Feel free to let me know what you think about it.
