Living amid cavernous mazes of petrified roots, rock and the husks of other dead creatures buried deep beneath the Mire, the generally placid but fearsomely territorial monkey-like creatures known as the Jöbii thrive within the shadows.
Though perfectly suited to life in complete darkness, they can sometimes be seen basking in the rare sunlight which occasionally breaches in from above.
