The original painting is 3ft by 4ft acrylic on canvas. My model was Sujatha a real life Asian elephant that lives at the Santa Barbara zoo. In this painting, I depicted her in traditional designs mixed with my own flair, painted on the elephants that participate at The Elephant Festival in Jaipur , Rajasthan. This piece was part of the Human Pyramids Artist Collective, Foreign Affairs, group show in May.
