Fascinating photograph and background, Jen. Is there a term that describes the jarring physical transition from the dream state to the waking world? I ask because I once hurled myself out of bed while dreaming that I was jumping from a runaway car into a vast field of golden wheat. Dented my Macbook, wounded my pride, and frightened my spouse but was otherwise unhurt. Would prefer no repeat, but I have to concede it was an experience like no other.
