Bowie or the Cobain version?? Great drawing!!
Óscar S. Cesteros commented on March 11, 2012 3:01pm
Bowie, I think, and... do you remember Ure's cover? It is a very strange drawing, too close to comics, maybe cyberpunk. But I prefer Cobain cover. Thanks Angelo!

Great piece! It looks like his robe (or even his hair) has melded with the computer wires. He's either a messiah or a vagrant (or both?). It's fun when a piece of artwork invites the viewer to make conclusions.

Fantastic, Óscar. I always love the organic, almost biomorphic quality of your geometric forms. Since we're on the subject of Bowie, I just watched the film "The Man Who Fell to Earth" again for the first time since it was released. It held up pretty well. Your work is loosely reminiscent of the televisions that fill Bowie's room in the final scenes.

Geoffrey thanks very much , your vision and knowledge are stunning!, I was a Bowie's fan. I love 'Low', 'Station to Station' and 'Heroes'. Yes, there are unconscious connection between this drawing and the film, I have discovered it with your comment !!

thanks Andre, interesting comment too. I think you are right, I tried to compose something misterious with different conclusions, and he is a messiah and a vagrant. I have been influenced by Philip K. Dirk for a long time, and for pioneers of electronic music of the seventies : Krafwerk, Bowie, Eno, Schulze, Cabaret Voltaire... and you can find it in this work.
