very nice! very lovely line art.
I hv been to Japan many times but have never been to Kyushu.
It's interesting for a French artist living in Kyushu and yet all your works are very Japanese style!
parisian samurai studio commented on March 7, 2013 12:04am
Thank you Joe, Kyushu is a very interesting place, the first time europeans came to Japan it's was in Kyushu for this reason japanese people called europeans "namban" literally "barbarians from the south". 500 years later Kyushu keep a kind of mixed-culture between european culture and japanese tradition. I try myself to get the good balance between the french style and the japanese style who fascinate me and by the way influence me a lot.

That's really great :))
I'm from Hong Kong, i'm interested in both the european and japanese culture!
love to see more works from you with this kind of good balance :-)

Ooh, fascinating drawing. I've yet to visit Japan, but I didn't know there was a Chinatown there. Very cool image, sir.
parisian samurai studio commented on May 5, 2013 2:42am
thank you very much for all your comments. @Jango thank you for your comment, Yokohama chinatown is a very interesting place to see but habitually strangers visiting japan maybe want to see something more "japanese" :) actually the most famous chinatowns in Japan are in Yokohama, Kobe and Nagasaki but Yokohama is the largest, if you come back in Japan add one of them in your trip planning you will not regret ;)
