We have a woodland nearby with rare plants (for our area) and maidenhair fern is found there. I love the delicate beauty of this plant. You've have captured it beautifully.

thank you all! @Joan--I can't imagine being able to find this plant where I live! That would be amazing! I've seen them in the wild in Bermuda, this one is in a plant conservatory.

Patti, In this special environment, there are red columbine draping from overhangs of limestone on high bluffs. There are Jack-in-the-Pulpit and Bloodroot and Trillium.......and Shooting Star. A total photographers dream.......and at the bottom of the ravines is a beautiful babbling brook edge with blue phlox and in the side of the ravine, a cave. Due to my child's disability I go there in memory now, but you gave a glimpse back in time.
