I wanted to be an artist friend to all..
but just had a offensive message from someone who was stealing someone's pictures and doodles work on it... and I replied back several times as friendly as i can.. but no reply back... bad attitude, isn't it?
and XXX was... pretended to be cool and famous from the public online.. that's what i felf... it's been long time ago.
but today just remember it again suddenly cuz i'm drunken so angry about it...
that's why i just wrote it.... ah... so sleepy... hahahah..

Nice poem Paul! I have been drunk before, and let my feelings really bulldoze my reservations. It's good to do that every once in a great while I guess. People do steal ideas and drawings. Much is borrowed, but to do it in a way that is uniquely your own separates good from bad art. That is the justice in the process. Look at Andy Warhol's art ... soup cans, Brillo pads, Elvis ... the originality I guess was presenting the stuff as art.

paul/josrick: need to agree again :)! there's a fine line between honest appropriation of successful elements of another artist's style and shameless, bald-faced hi-jacking of another's ideas/images/tropes, etc. paul, you are so original and i'm really glad you put this up, and from an art historical perspective, this kind of disclosure has precedent and legitimacy...so, i would say that people who think this simply as a humorous "posting" are (while supportive) relatively unaware of the course of contemporary art itself, and specifically the ability of written text to complement visual media and processes. at any rate: keep doing what you do - it does give people joy and pleasure, as does any art that comes from a voice that is confident, consistent, and novel. let's simply hope that those here who paint-by-number the work of others, so to speak, not by design but ignorance.
