DESCRIPTION

Skins are thin, easy-to-remove, vinyl decals for customizing your device. Skins are made from a patented material that eliminates air bubbles and wrinkles for easy application.

It's a serendipitous moment when a themed benefit show also corresponds to what I'd want to paint anyway. I donated this piece to Local Hearts for Healthy Hearts in April, 2011 which exhibited at the Triton Museum of Art in Santa Clara and benefitted The American Heart Association. Original is 16" x 16" x 1.5" acrylic and stain on birch panel.

This is an awesome concept that is very artistically expressed. Coming out of a healthcare background specializing in hemodynamics, I had to stare at this particular work for a long time. Great job! :)

extraordinary and very symbolic I gather :)

Thanks Heather, Fiery-Fire and Shuttervita! Glad to hear you dig it. I definitely wasn't overly concerned with anatomical correctness, so I'm happy to hear I got it close enough to capture your attention :)
