Happy Phonographer
Happy Phonographer
So, I know I should, but I don't have my beloved camera with me all the time... However, I do have my phone, and every once in while I see things I would like to take a picture of... And in absence of my Canon, my iPhone does the job. Never thought that would get too far, but apparently I was wrong!

Recently the happy town where I live organized a "Phonography" contest with the town itself being the theme... Winners got their picture printed in fancy surfaces (mine was wood!) and exhibited at the town's Civic museum for a month...

Definitely, never thought that if I ever had any of my photos on a museum, it would be one taken with the phone... But eh!, I don't complain! :)

Congratz Pepe...... I shall never again complain that I forgot my camera and all I have with me is my Iphone :)

I guess it boils down to the vision and resulting image rather than the equipment used to interpret that vision..... and phones are just another medium.
Congratulations on your exhibit, I like the irony of your 21st century iPhone image of an old stone building printed on wood.

Thank you all for your nice comments :)

Kitsmumma, you are right, the image and what makes you feel is what matters after all, and not the tools used to create it.
