ABOUT THE ART

The Nep sat still and played his tune
Upon a hill beneath a tree
On a vezubuelian afternoon
He played that Zaffordapolee

An instrument of ancient origin
Carved from tusk and candybone
Passed from pop to pop to son:
“A sorcerer’s lost saxophone”

His fingers danced upon the keys
Of that baroque aerophone
The breeze untweezed upon his knees
And in his head he soared alone

The Nep dreamed out that magic tune
And played in utter rhapsody
And woke up in the midnight gloom
Three eyes blinked beneath three moons
And he recalled that afternoon
He played his Zaffordapolee

I love it! I think you have a bit of Dr. Seuss in you! The instrument reminds me of one of his "flandukas" or at least I think that's what he called them. LOL!
