Wow! Thank you, Keith Rein, for letting me know that the over-sexualization of women is to be commonplace or accepted. It’s so acceptable, in fact, that I should drink from mugs, wear t-shirts, lay on pillows, sleep in duvet covers, and even dress my children in clothes that degrade women. Thank you for teaching me that everything a woman does can and should be interpreted as sexual. Thank you for teaching me that being a good female employee means being a sexual object. Thank you for informing me that not only should women be used, but women should be asking to be used. Thank you for also teaching me that tears streaming down a women’s face during a sexual scenario isn’t only acceptable, it is looked fondly upon. But most of all, thank you for telling me that P is for penis. I’ve heard that p is also for provocative, procreative, and pornographic. It also stands for provocation, poignant, pitiful, and pungent. Without the help of your “artwork”, I would have only known that p is for pig. At least, that’s what my kindergarten teacher taught me. Did you know that pig doesn’t only mean a domesticated animal humans use as a source of food? Pig also means a dirty, repulsive, or immoral person. From all of us women who were not aware of our position in society (another p word), thank you.
