ABOUT THE ART
We have apple trees in our yard and we're so lucky to get bags of apples from them every year. Before I cook them up, I peel...and I peel....and I peel. I do it by hand, because no backyard apple is truly round and I peel until the tips of my fingers are tender from the tangy acidic juices. And yes, I can peel an apple in one long curling strip.
