Geoffrey Agrons commented on January 5, 2012 3:54pm
Such depth! Appears three dimensional. Those deeply saturated reds are sumptuous.

Thanks for the lovely compliments!! I really appreciate them. Geoffrey ... I oversaturated those reds on top of black!! I think I need to pull out my oils ... I'm laying these so heavy. But I'm glad they translate well. Thanks for the comments.

angela deal meanix commented on January 6, 2012 10:53am
oooo, good idea Anna. I've been so neglectful of my Spoonflower shop ... thanks! Thank you Paula and Valerie. Haha Angelo! thanks for that most appreciated comment and I'm wondering if I strike you as a bit confused with my style? lol. This year, I'd like to try to have a consistency to my work, but hard to do when it's largely based on moods. Hm. Thanks, Bob, Jacqueline and Wayne. Nice to come to the computer and see people have appreciated the work.
angela deal meanix commented on January 6, 2012 10:54am
AND, it's funny you say jigsaw puzzle, Angelo ... I need to complete my Sketchbook project and intend to make little pieces that can be removed and pieces in any manner the viewer seems fit:) We'll see how it goes ...
Geoffrey Agrons commented on January 6, 2012 10:59am
Re: color saturation. Don't change a thing! IMHO, of course.
Angelo Cerantola commented on January 6, 2012 12:31pm
Confused style? Not at all Angela, quite the contrary, it shows a very personal style with each piece a further exploration and extension of what came before... viewed together they form a complete picture (in my opinion) hence my comment... of course they work beautifully as single pieces too!
Hugo Barros commented on January 6, 2012 5:26pm

Efi Tolia commented on January 7, 2012 8:59am

All the right words from Angelo, Hugo, and Efi. I'm with them!
angela deal meanix commented on January 7, 2012 10:41am
Geoffrey ~ I quite like your opinions:). Thanks and I appreciate whenever you chime in ! Angelo I must confess I am not the best at puzzles so my mind free associated the word with confusion. Lol. I see what you mean and really truly appreciate your observations and words they are very encouraging~! Thank you! Efi ~ always glad to see you here! Thanks and you are correct - I just laid a tiny stroke of color today on a piece I am trying to like and I almost cried ~color is just so moving to me! Ha!

Scrumptious work!

Hi Angela, I must comment on your remark about color! I can identify with that, especially in relation to water color. It was over 10 years ago that I tried water color for the first time (real water color on good paper) and I still remember how it made me feel! I was painting with blues, purples, greens....big surprise huh? Weird how color evokes feelings.
angela deal meanix commented on January 13, 2012 9:49pm
Isabelle I'm so glad it makes you happy! and thanks ... Love your name btw:). Andre you are too kind, but I have to say I love the adjective!lol. Thanks for commenting~ Catherine indeed it is an interesting phenomenon ... It's like a true connection with something deep inside is ... Our real selves. If that makes any sense!
Michael Creese commented on January 16, 2012 10:37am

angela deal meanix commented on January 19, 2012 8:29pm
