ABOUT THE ART
Lovely yellow-green autumn foliage with a view of the Eiffel Tower peeking through from my favorite bridge in Paris, pont de Bir-Hakeim, named to commemorate the Battle of Bir Hakeim, fought by Free French forces against the German Afrika Korps in 1942. This gorgeous, two-level bridge is the only access point for the île aux Cygnes, a lovely narrow park nestle in the middle of the Seine, away from the hustle and bustle of urban Paris.
