ABOUT THE ART

Old abandoned farmhouse in the rural landscape of Pulaski County, Georgia, near Hawkinsville.

There's something about abandoned houses that always makes me stop and ponder the lives that were lived there. Where did the children go who once played on that hill? Are they nearby in a newer home or halfway across the world living entirely different lives to the ones they lived on the farm?

Maybe it's just the chance to imagine interesting stories?

Or maybe the old house on that lonesome hill is the ghost of the lives lived there?

Thanks for taking a second to check out my artwork. You can see more of my work and learn more about my story here. http://www.beautifulworldart.com

Beautiful colors and composition --- and you captured my sentiments about abandoned houses, too! :) ♫
