Mount Buninyong is an extinct volcano in western Victoria, Australia rises to 719 metres (2,359 ft) above sea level. Located in the Mt Buninyong Scenic Reserve 4 km north of the town of Buninyong and 14 km south of Ballarat, it is located on the regional city's rural-urban fringe.
