ABOUT THE ART

more sketchbook yall!

Across the world, your worries block the sun-- well, they at least scatter a few grains of shade on a hill or a prairie or the ferruginous fox's fire-lick ear. The storm breaking atop your roof: one zillion medusae exuviae, each drop and its dissolved extinguished inhabitant sinks into the earth, crumbles, deliquesced, down chimneys and in brown brackish gutters and out the gape of gargoyles.

etc.

etc.

etc.

Dr Will, I think you could publish the sketchbook....I love the sparing use of color in the clouds or waves, not sure which...just great!
Efi Tolia commented on December 9, 2011 9:48am
A pink whale drifting in blue-purple soft clouds...mmm! I love the comic book framing and text, too! :D

I agree with Catherine, you could publish the sketchbook - I think it would be fantastic to have a book of all your drawings and writings, we're all waiting on the graphic novel too, but these are just wonderful just as they are!

Thanks Catherine, Efi, Heather, and Laura!! I never considered trying to publish the sketchbook--and Heather, 'The Wonderful Plague' is slowly taking shape. Hopefully i'll be sending it out to publishers/agents by spring. :)
