Pavor Nocturnusby Bsvc
ABOUT THE ART
Pavor Nocturnus is latin for night terrors. Sleep terrors begin between ages 3 and 12 years and then usually dissipate during adolescence. In adults they most commonly occur between the ages of 20 to 30. Though the frequency and severity varies between individuals, the episodes can occur in intervals of days or weeks, but can also occur over consecutive nights or multiple times in one night. I know people who have had a child that had these terrors and later outgrew them but by the description from the parents it was certainly a terrifying ordeal both for the child and the parents....this is my attempt in a single image to try and portray what it might have been like to experience Pavor Nocturnus...
