Paynesville Harbourby Chris' Landscape Images Of Australia
ABOUT THE ART
Paynesville, is a charming village located within the Gippsland waterways system; it is surrounded by lakes on three sides with canals and inlets providing sheltered moorings for boats.
It is the region's boating capital. Anglers, windsurfers, jet skiers, and water skiers flock to the town to take to the water. Water-ski the lakes, fish for black bream and mullet, or watch for dolphins playing in the water. Exploring the Mitchell River silt jetties, second only in size to the immense silt jetties of the Mississippi River and venturing over to the many un-inhabited islands where the wildlife is in abundance is a unique experience.
