Thankyou Carina, Suyumbike, Allison, Greta and Christy :) if you have the time please give the folk song a listen, it's very moving. And if there are any Bulgarians or people who can speak Bulgarian, I'd very greatful for a copy or translation of the lyrics to this piece, I've searched high and low for them (on the internet) and have come up short.

Amazing work Polkip (and well worth the wait!).... It's interesting that you like this Bulgarian music too... back in the 80's, mesmerized by its beautiful cover art I bought a record on the 4AD label called "Le Mystère des Voix Bulgares".... I still have it, and this particular song you like is on it, so check it out if you're not already familiar with it... you'll love it!! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Le_Myst%...28album%29

Thank you for the link Angelo :) they're such haunting singers, really makes you shiver. I first heard this music in a song called 'Home' by 'The God Machine'. A part of my love for that song was the female singing of this song in the beginning so I decided to track the music down and came across that very same album.

Hi Polkip, as a guy born in Bulgaria, I must say, it's an old Bulgarian song with old Bulgarian language which is not being used today. And that makes it hard to make an exact translation. If you'd like to know, I can summarize what it says.

And I can't help adding an old traditional song from Romania sang by one of our greatest singers: Maria Tanase http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VA8Bir...re=related
