Beautiful! We have gray squirrels on the East Coast. I love the richness of this squirrel's fur. Perfect pose, too.

The Grey Squirrels we have in the UK were introduced many years ago from North America but the Reds are native to this country. They only survive in isolated places and in small numbers because of loss of habitat etc and unfortuneatly because of the Grey's taking over, which are now widespread and numerous. The reds are smaller than the grey's and yes they are beautiful little creatures.
