Sarb J - on the rocks

Collect your choice of gallery quality Giclée, or fine art prints custom trimmed by hand in a variety of sizes with a white border for framing.

Sarb J foundered on rocks many years ago after getting caught in its own nets. It now sits slowly rusting on the Yorkshire coast near Robon Hood's Bay.

Thank you for your kind comments. As someone who lives on a boat I found it very sad - but also quite exciting to explore the wreck - you can easily get inside and look around.

Lovely image but very sad, it must be great living on a boat, I envy you.

Thanks for the comment Tarby - but don't envy me - do it :) I took 40 years to get around to it and the only regret is that I didn't do it sooner.

Thanks Wendy - I found out some time later that there is an easy path and walk down to this. After I'd walked around the long way, slithering through mud and seaweed.

Thank you all - sadly this has all but gone now as over the years people have removed more and more for scrap.

What a great find & interesting narrative!

Sadly now gone . . . 'harvested' over the years by enterprising 'scrap metal' collectors.
