Fascinating! "Now", as one of my mentors was fond of saying, "What does it mean?" Promote first, ponder later. Hope to be back...

Fantastic!!! Love your strokes... Love the way parts are pulled to the past and future! The circle is now, but part of it is already been pulled to the past! Oh, I just love this!!!
Heather Goodwind commented on February 28, 2012 12:33pm
Thanks Geoffrey and Efi, you guys are so awesome!

I like everything about this!

... and in this tenuous form. But, I'm sure that regardless of what form our existence should take in other times and places, we'll be able to recognize heartfelt truths like the one you illustrated in such a touching way here, Heather!

adequately muddy, indeed. painting with stamps? something flat, maybe. I can imagine cleaning up inky fingers, afterwards... salutations + peace on this round trip

Its really beautiful and intriguing. At first it looks to me like a pillar in the middle of the ocean, which is steady and grounded. But when I look closer it appears more buoyant suspended by tenuous lines. I love the green color in this ... and they way it "folds" with the variant blues and greens.

Thank you soooo much everyone, I can't tell you how much all your nice comments always make me feel so happy! Juan - yes, it's a piece of acetate that I've been printing with, I'm trying not to use my fingers too much these days (though they do often work better for me than the brushes).

This is my favorite, Heather! Beautiful piece! I could probably write ballads about this, but I'll just say this.... it's amazing & very impressive! I see the pillar shaped object as the flow of space (place) & time on which the circle defines a temporary existence (may I say, physical existence)... but I would say it still continues to exist on non-physical level... those lines are the extensions or potential existence yet at other levels.... I know I should stop now as it's not making any sense! But, Love this! :))

absolutely marvellous! this piece includes new concepts in your composition, for instance, your sign/logo integrated in the main element. I need more time to understand the content of this piece,... but I think that it will like me.
Gréta Thórsdóttir commented on February 29, 2012 3:23am
beautiful!
Óscar S. Cesteros commented on February 29, 2012 5:00am
return again,..., I like it so much, it is very complex, but very deep.
Heather Goodwind commented on February 29, 2012 4:24pm
Thank you Deepti, Óscar and Gréta! Deepti - I love "potential existence" for the lines! Óscar - I have to admit I felt pretty self-concious about putting my signature in the object of this one (after the fact, that is, in the moment it seemed like the right thing to do to put "me" right there, existing). I actually edited it out for the device, I think it almost works better as an empty square....
