great work, beautiful title!
Geoffrey Agrons commented on April 19, 2012 12:23pm
A compelling work whose impact is inseparable from its title. I like that.
Heather Goodwind commented on April 19, 2012 1:27pm
Thanks so much Angelo and Geoffrey - and yes, the text probably the most important part of this one, funny how that works sometimes and not others... :)
Jacqueline Maldonado commented on April 19, 2012 1:31pm
Hmmmm... This one has me perplexed - and I love a visual challenge! There seems to be many layers of meaning here. Sarcasm in the text, and anger, sex, power and control represented in the form and color. I keep looking and re-looking; it's a very captivating image. Nice work, Heather!
Jacqueline Maldonado commented on April 19, 2012 1:31pm
of course, I can be way off!!
Heather Goodwind commented on April 19, 2012 1:44pm
Thanks Jacqueline - I always love your analysis, and I strongly believe that the "challenge" is in the eye of the beholder and therefore you could never be way off!!

absolutely LOVE the stationary cards and stretched canvas!

Beautiful

Aside to Jacqueline and note to self: Heather is so generous. She always provides a graceful route of entry and exit for us whether we are "right" or "wrong".
Anai Greog commented on April 19, 2012 3:23pm
this is so intense
Jacqueline Maldonado commented on April 19, 2012 7:33pm
Yes, Geoffrey! You are so right! I love that Heather lets our imaginations go where they please without correcting or redirecting. Thank you, Heather, for letting us revel in our own analysis :)
Deepti Munshaw commented on April 20, 2012 10:42am
Heather knows that we'll all have our subjective analysis 'cause everyone will see things differently.... that's the beauty of her work! Wonderful piece again, Heather! :))

Thanks you guys, you are so incredibly nice - and how could I not let you have your interpretations when they are always so interesting?

Just great!
Óscar S. Cesteros commented on April 23, 2012 12:50am
without words, 'for not talking about nothing', black and red are strong mix, but in this case they identify with similar forms. It's like a kiss each other: the red, the passion, and the black, the darkness. This is a very hard work !!!
Heather Goodwind commented on April 23, 2012 6:44pm
Thanks Gwenola and Óscar, and yes, Óscar, it was one of those moments - very hard :)

Just a little brain damage here! This appeals to me, even though I don't know why... Hmmm...
