Great picture! And i too feel sorry for the animals in the zoo. It´s no different than a prison. But whitout them many children would never feel a connection with these animals and would later on never bother to care what happens to the rainforests and seas etc. So in my opinion we "sacrifice" these animals (and put them in prison) to make sure their entire specie won´t get extinct.

I agree completely Nicklas, I am not against zoos, but I do champion plenty of space for them to thrive and things to challenge them. Some zoos are definitely better than others. My purpose of photographing them is, I just love them and I want others to see what I see. Sometimes it happens. (o:

Thank you Mary! I don't doubt these gorillas could have been victims of poaching had they been left in the wild. Sort of a catch 22.
