Wow that is just great. I picked this one up at a used camera shop for 5 bucks. It doesn't work, but looks cool. So I picked it up to put it in my studio. Thanks RDelena.

Ah! An Argus C3! I've got one of my own, I love it to death. I would love to have that on my laptop.
Wood-n-Images commented on April 6, 2012 5:04am
Thanks all. Liz, I picked this camera up at a local camera store for $5.00. I just liked the design of it. sort of looks like a Art Deco design from the 1930's. I don't know if it works ot not but I just might put a roll of B&W film in it and see.
bomobob commented on April 6, 2012 6:40am
It's an Argus C3 from the 40s-50s, and if you tell me where you live I'll come and break in:)
Liz Scoles commented on April 9, 2012 3:43am
Yours looks like the 1949 model, same as mine. Winding and focusing are fairly tricky, not nearly as tricky as working without a light meter for me, but the pictures that work in the end are stunning. It's definitely worth a shot to try it out.
Wood-n-Images commented on April 11, 2012 2:15pm
Yes sometimes the most simple cameras are the best. they let you concentrate on the images.
