You are taking your work to a new level, Óscar! I'll return to this piece, hopefully more coherent, after I've had a chance to wake up.
Óscar S. Cesteros commented on February 21, 2012 6:56am
... after a strong coffee, this a strong piece, :-)
Heather Goodwind commented on February 21, 2012 7:04am
Oh, I was right to be excited about these! Speaking of coffee - is that what you used for the background? Whatever it is, it's lovely!
Óscar S. Cesteros commented on February 21, 2012 9:01am
not, is black tea. Black tea is very good for backgrounds. Blue ink is a Rotring, 0.2 and 0.8 (tecnical drawing). Yes, is a strange combination, but Rotring works very fine. Geoffrey and Heather, thanks for your comments and interest!
Geoffrey Agrons commented on February 21, 2012 9:16am
Two double espressos and some spilled tea later (fine tremor of the outstretched hand, and all that), I've come to the caffeine-addled conclusion that this is your finest work. However, best to bear in mind that this viewer may be irrationally exuberant.
Nyxaboneflowers commented on February 21, 2012 9:16am
Strong composition Óscar! I love the menacing, battling faces ~

Óscar S. Cesteros commented on February 21, 2012 9:49am
thanks Geoffrey, sorry for the extra caffeine. I am glad for your interest, It was very difficult of post it, because it's a different line.

This piece really affects me ... their faces and the space between the two figures is so sad and still like something has been lost. Love the contrast of the stillness of the space between them and the chaos of the lines behind them...beautiful work.
Óscar S. Cesteros commented on April 10, 2012 12:49am
thanks very much Rachel, ... I am glad that you have connected with this piece, and your vision is like mine. For an artist this is the best reward. That is stunning!! :-)
