What price meat?

by Heather Goodwind

Fine art print on bright white, fine poly-cotton blend, matte canvas using latest generation Epson archival inks. Individually trimmed and hand stretched museum wrap over 1-1/2" deep wood stretcher bars. Includes wall hanging hardware.

ABOUT THE ART

"La venganza de Santa Teresita" - acrylic paint on gessoed rice paper - "Frigorifico Mattias" used to send this bloody airplane over my house to scream the price of meat at me several times a day. That is why it was the first thing I thought of sending into the "door to hell" ...

and... the painting of 'Santa Teresita'... Did you move to States, finally? What did it happen with your large paintings? The other day I bought a Moleskine with pink cover, wow, but not for artistic purpose,... to write math equations and programming structures... I discovered a Lego version ... it is amazing the new lines of these classic notebooks!!

Thanks Óscar! I'm still "in transit" to the States, hopefully arriving around October. And it turns out that I'm bringing the larger paintings with me, I have to bring a few sculptures because they were selected by the US State Dept. for the Art in Embassies program (yay! I'll do a post about it when I know where they're going exactly) so I have to do the paperwork to export art anyway so I might as well do it for as many pieces as possible. And wow, a pink Moleskine, I haven't seen those yet. I actually have just finished a new book of drawings, I have a feeling it will be my last Moleskine though....

My pleasure to promote and comment on this wonderful piece a second time! Are you coming to Washington DC with the work for the Art in Embassies program? Maybe I can give you a ride or share a coffee break?

perfect!! good news

Thanks guys! Wayne - I'd love a coffee someday but I this time they will be shipping the work from where I will be to Washington. I just have to carry the work out of Argentina (crazy regulations and insane shipping prices but it's not so bad if the artist is carrying it out). But if I do make it to Washington I'm going to look you up!
