It's partially a reference to one of my favorite artworks...David Wajnorowicz's photograph, "Untitled(buffalos falling)".

Thanks, Pegeen... The papier-mache is basically applied on top of a "wooden canvas". It is the base that I painted on. I stained the paper with ink, paint and watercolor technique prior to doing the artwork.

Thanks :) Yeah, I felt it should be it's own thing and I was never satisfied with the first one...the man is smaller in comparison to the bull in this version. The white buffalo has appeared in other paintings also, it's a recurring symbol in my work I guess.
