I love this one!

Thanks Steven. This is an updated digital version of my abstract map painting which was originally done in acrylic :-)

That's actually incredible how you are able to re-create an idea on another media. Looks great on both
Project M commented on July 31, 2013 8:49am
Thanks. For me art is all about ideas and fun. Five years ago I hated the idea of digital art. But I now see the advantages. I've just recently turned ten of my acrylic abstract map paintings into a digital format for a case company. Watch this space :-)

I felt the same way. All I wanted to do was tradional art. I hated the thought of digital art now I see it as just another medium which could be suitable to create a certain ideas for an appropriate form. Even still saying that I still to this day treasure traditional media over digital.

Well said. I have more ideas in my head than I can execute with paint on canvas. I see my digital studies as a starting point and when I have time I will try and transpose the ones that work onto canvas. I also believe that art doesn't need to be on canvas, it can be on other medium too.
StevenARTify commented on July 31, 2013 10:41am
Yeah exactly, it's whatever is going to work best for conveying the idea.
