After watching Game of Thrones I've been reading the books.
I had this idea when Stannis Baratheon forged his alliance with the red lady. The whole idea of combining a stag (the Baratheon sigil) and fire really appealed to me. The fire being related to the Lord of Light, the red lady and Stannis' sword.
The title comes from their motto "ours is the fury".
