I spent about 5 hours in Colorado in February of 2011. I went to attend the funeral of my best friends grandfather. A sad occasion to be sure, but one of the most beautiful drives I have taken. It was 76 degrees (Fahrenheit) and there were piles of snow on the ground from the previous week. The mountains were shocking compared to what we have on the east coast. This is another one of my favorite shots from that scenic drive.
