This is where I long to be
Under the ocean, deep and blue
Becoming as one with the sea.
I swim with my sister whales
Way beyond crashing waves.
The riptide pulls us onward
Down among the hidden caves.
My dolphin friends, they call to me,
They smile their dolphin smiles.
They call to me, they say
Come play with us a while.
I just know I am a mermaid,
I know the sea is where I belong.
For now I’ll dream my Ocean Dreams
And listen to whale songs. . .
