The 458 Sea Tigers were a US Army unit that originated by storming the beaches of Normandy in 1943 in their truck boats called DUKW's. They continued to serve in Vietnam starting in 1966. After hearing from Boat Captain Robert A. Brower with the 458th PBR out of Cat Lo RVN in 1969 and past VP of the 458th Sea Tigers I was moved to change the bottom lettering to reflect a long spanse of time since different men served at different times. Capt. Brower owns the last Army PBR produced by Uniflite and will have this design painted on the boat. I am honored!
