Happy my husband was with me yesterday because I'm always looking UP! Found this guy at the beach. Didn't see anything at the swamp. Go figure.

That's the problem with photography we are always looking everywhere but where we are stepping! Almost stepped on a western rattle snake last spring! This looks like it has a diamond shape head so I am assuming it is poisonous. What kind of snake is it?

Someone told me it was a copperhead. Definitely poisonous. The scary thing is that we were so far out in the boondocks with not a hospital or a town around anywhere.
