Curlers and Cigarettes is a series that is truly about the all-powerful feminine mystique. Women have the ability to create energy, make a statement and change someone's mind by the way they move or through a simple gesture. I wanted to explore the variety of personality and attitude that can come through when different women take on the same action. Curlers and cigarettes are the two devices I use in to travel through different decades and cultures revealing the appeal and the charisma that only women can wield.
