I don't know the story behind this early 30s Studabaker, abandoned and rusting, a bit off the road in the Arizona brush. I snapped a few photos and spent the rest of the day wondering about the car. It's amazing how something can just lay there in the desert - undisturbed -for the better part of 100 years while roads are built and time passes and people live and die all around it. There's just something poignant and evocative about the metal of an old car that's survived this long.
