What a fun image, Sheena! My daughter has played soccer since she was 6 years old all the way up through high school. Unfortunately, now that she's in college... she's no longer playing. But for so many years, we were always on the road for tournaments, etc. LOVE the game... and LOVE your illustration here. How COOL that you've written and illustrated your own book! Congratulations!

thanks tracey! i played soccer as a kid too and recently started playing again with a nice group of women in a local park. this was a fun image to create because of all my experience playing soccer.
