Stretched Canvas

DESCRIPTION

Fine art print on bright white, fine poly-cotton blend, matte canvas using latest generation Epson archival inks. Individually trimmed and hand stretched museum wrap over 1-1/2" deep wood stretcher bars. Includes wall hanging hardware.

Aviation has played a huge part in my life and has remained an obsession for as long as my family can recall.
My three year old nephew seems to share his uncles obsession so for his birthday I took him down to the local airfield and air museum. Explaining to him how these aircraft used to engage in combat had his eyes light up and was the inspiration for this piece with an American Corsair getting the drop on an unsuspecting Japanese Zero.

aircraft, plane, war, world war, combat, dogfight, zero, corsair, japanese, america, pacific, pearl harbour, fight, ace, machine, clouds, warzone, ww2, vintage, fire, smoke, gun, cannon

Hahaha thankyou Paul! Although avaiation art is not hugely popular I am really happy with this piece - was a major push on my skills, sanity and resulted in the near death of my computer lol.
