@Laura, Noel, and Luis -- thanks very much! I am definitely inclined toward detailed pen and ink work. :) @ Balazs -- Thank you! I think the overall color scheme came as much from a feeling of nostalgia and missing the city as it did from any ideas about color theory or composition.
